How the workshop works
Participants distribute themselves across groups – one per case – and outline how the pilot could be carried out. If no one signs up for a case, it will not be worked on. Results are presented in plenary.
The groups work on three questions:
- What is the goal of the pilot in the first three-month cycle?
- What should the pilot produce? Dream journey, information and data models, data products, high-level architecture, solution design, prototypes, frameworks and more.
- What competence is needed, and how will it be obtained?
The most important thing to settle is who will take the lead on each case.
Selection
This time the selection places more weight on feasibility and the partners’ ability to contribute than on finding the “right” case – the main constraint has been capacity to carry pilots out, not a shortage of good needs.
