Why open market dialogue?

SAMT-BU addresses complex, cross-sectoral challenges where solutions are not predetermined. To make well-informed decisions about needs, architecture, and implementation, we need early and broad contact with the market – suppliers, professional communities, researchers, and other public actors with experience from similar challenges.

We conduct this dialogue through open, version-controlled documents rather than closed meetings and email. This provides:

• Equal treatment in practice – all contributions are visible to everyone, simultaneously
• Traceability – every submission and every change has a timestamp and author
• Broader participation – the barrier to contribute is low, and geography matters less
• Reuse – the documentation lives on as learning for other projects

Status

We are in an early phase, testing the method. Feedback on the process itself is as welcome as substantive input on the topics at hand.
